Carmen's father is Mariano García (Magro) and her mother is Consuelo Oliva.  Her paternal grandparents were Hilario García (Redondo) and Fuencisla Magro.  She is the oldest of five children.  She has two brothers and two sisters, named Ignacio, Mariano, Yolanda and Fuencisla.
