Mariano's father was Hilario García (Redondo) and his mother is Fuencisla Magro. His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He is the second of four children. He has two brothers and a sister, named Julián, Ignacio and Isabel.
