Juana was born in 1904. Juana's father was Tomás Álvaro and her mother was Ruperta García. She was the second of seven children. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Eugenio, Frutos, Julio, Pedro, Amparo and Leonor. She died, at the age of 74, on 22-Feb-1978 in Madrid.
