Aurea was born on 5-Apr-1922 in Cuevas de Provanco (Segovia).  Aurea's father was Felix Cob (Nuñez) and her mother was Pilar Nicasia Aparicio (Aguado).  Her paternal grandparents were Dámaso Cob (Reyes) and Francisca Nuñez; her maternal grandparents were  Blas Aparicio (Aguado) and  Buenaventura (Aguado).  She was the fourth of seven children.  She had two brothers and four sisters, named Ángel, Blas, Julia, Saturnina, Felipa and Carmen.  She died, at the age of 1, in 1923 in Cuevas de Provanco (Segovia).
