Thomas was born on May 10th, 1848 in Halse, Somerset, , England.1   Thomas' father is Samuel Cattle and his mother was Hannah Cattle.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Cattle and Martha Cattle; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Rossiter Loller and Martha Loller. He had two brothers named John and James.  He died at the age of 51 on June 21st, 1899 in Pontardawe, Glamorgan, , Wales.
