Fanny, known as Frances, was born on October 12th, 1887 in 76 Spital, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire.  Frances' father was Thomas Fraser and her mother was Margaret McKenzie.  Her paternal grandparents were John Fraser and Ann Thomson; her maternal grandparents were William McKenzie and Elizabeth Stuart. She had a brother and six sisters, named William, Margaret, Williamina, Alice, Bella, Charlotte and Mary.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Bronchopneumonia, Cerebral Arteriosclerosis; Osteoarthritis, at the age of 84 on April 15th, 1972 in 3 Spital Walk, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire.
