Margaret was born about 1839 in Aberdeenshire. Scotland.  Margaret's father was Arthur Davidson and her mother was Annie McDonald.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter Davidson and <Unknown>.  She had a brother and a sister, named John and Mitchell.  She was the second oldest of the three children.
