Kulandaisamy's father is Raj Cimeon, came from Kadagathur and his mother is Madalaiammal.  His paternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He has five brothers named Chandra Babu, Cycle, Madalaimuthu, Abbu Sebastian, Arockiasamy,  Penagkaarer and Cimeon.  He is the fifth oldest of the six children.
