Moses Metcalfe Webster

Moses was born in 1809. Moses' father was Benoni Webster and his mother was Sally Metcalfe. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Webster and Dorothy Hills. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Alfred, Edmund, Benoni, Samuel, Rhoda, Sarah, Mary and Malinda. He was the eighth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 54 in 1863.

- Born in Roxbury, Washington County, Vermont died possibly in Illiniois, Iowa, Ohio - or California.

General Notes
- "A man of giant frame, and about 1839, had, I believe, six children. About that time he disappeared, but some years afterward returned from Canada with a large family, and I think went West." (From John Webster, Haywards, California.)
