Waldemar

Waldemar was born in 1858. Waldemar's father was Christen IX King of Denmark and his mother was Louisa Princess of Hesse-Cassel. His paternal grandparents were Charles Duke of Schlesvig-Holstein and Louisa Princess of Hesse-Cassel. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Frederick VII King of Denmark, George I King of Greece, Alexandra, Dagmar and Thyra. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 81 in 1939.
