Christen VI King of Denmark and Norway was born in 1699.  Christen VI King of Denmark and Norway's father was Frederick IV  King of Denmark and Norway and his mother was Louisa Duchess of Mecklenburg-Gustrow.  His paternal grandparents were Christen V King of Denmark and Norway and Charolotte Amalia Princess of Hesse-Cassel. He had three brothers and a sister, named Christen, Frederick, George and Charolotte.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Frederick Christen, Charles and Christiana.  He died at the age of 47 in 1746.
