Frederick Christen was born in 1626.  Frederick Christen's father was Frederick IV  King of Denmark and Norway and his mother was Anna Christina Countess of Reventlov.  His paternal grandparents were Christen V King of Denmark and Norway and Charolotte Amalia Princess of Hesse-Cassel. He had a brother and a sister, named Charles and Christiana.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Christen, Christen VI King of Denmark and Norway, Frederick, George and Charolotte.  He died at the age of 1 in 1627.
