Henry Duke of Cumberland's father was Frederick Prince of Wales and his mother was Augusta of Saxo-Gotha.  His paternal grandparents were King George II of England and Hanover and Caroline of Brandenburg-Ansbach. He had three brothers and a sister, named King George III of England and Hanover, Edward Duke of York, William Henry Duke Gloucester and Augusta.  He died in 1790.
