Frederick

Frederick was born in 1599. Frederick's father was Christen IV Danish King of Denmark and Norway and his mother was Anna Catherine Princess of Bradenburg. His paternal grandparents were Frederick II King of Denmark and Norway and Sophia Duchess of Mecklenburg-Gustrow. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Christen, Frederick III King of Denmark and Norway, Ulric, Shopia and Isabella. He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Waldemar Christen, Frederick, Anna Christina, Sophia Isabella, Eleanor Christina, Christina, Hedvig, Dorthea Isabella and Mary Catherine.
