Augusta

Augusta was born in 1580. Augusta's father was Frederick II King of Denmark and Norway and her mother was Sophia Duchess of Mecklenburg-Gustrow. Her paternal grandparents were Christen III King of Denmark and Norway and Dorthea of Saxe-Lauenburg-Ratzenburg; her maternal grandparents were Ulric III Duke of Mecklenburg-Gustrow and Isabella. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Christen IV Danish King of Denmark and Norway, Ulric, John, Isabella, Anna and Hedvig. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 59 in 1639.
