Bibianne was born on June 2nd, 1869.  Bibianne's father was Joseph Auffrey and her mother was Henriette  Gauvin.  Her paternal grandparents were Dominique Charles Auffray and Nathalie Bourgeois; her maternal grandparents were Laurent Gauvin and Madeleine Bourque. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Philippe, Dominique, Nathalie, Maxime, Auguste, Ferdinant, Alphee, Rose, Madeleine and Elisabeth.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
