Auguste Auffrey

Auguste was born on July 14th, 1863. Auguste's father was Joseph Auffrey and his mother was Henriette Gauvin. His paternal grandparents were Dominique Charles Auffray and Nathalie Bourgeois; his maternal grandparents were Laurent Gauvin and Madeleine Bourque. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Philippe, Dominique, Nathalie, Maxime, Ferdinant, Alphee, Rose, Bibianne, Madeleine and Elisabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died due to a medical problem at the age of 80 on August 17th, 1943.

General Notes
- Auguste and Rachel lived in Pre-d'en-Haut in the house that belonged to his father. His mother had remarried Toussaint LeBlanc and lived in Belliveau Village with her daughter Elisabeth. Rachel died giving birth to twins. He remarried Monique LeBlanc, widow of Donat Landry who had five children. He sold his house to his brother Dominique and moved in his father-in-law's house in Belliveau-Village which is now the property of Francois Landry. This is the house he lived in until he died.
