Sara was born on March 9th, 1631.  Sara's father was Edward Jackson and her mother was Frances Taft (Jackson).  Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Jackson and Susan Johnson (Jackson); her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Taft and Margaret Milner (Taft). She had six brothers and five sisters, named Israel, Margaret, Caleb, Joseph, Jonathan, Sebas, Hannah, Rebecca, Frances, Elizabeth and Ruth.  Israel and Sara were twins.
