William was born on May 9th, 1890 in Craig, Holt County, Missouri.  William's father was Frediedric Tammen Trauernicht and his mother was Henrietta Dorothea Tjaden.  His paternal grandparents were Tamme Friederic Trauernicht and Namke (Nancy) Peben; his maternal grandparents are Lambertus Tjaden and Rena. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Bert, Thomas, John, Rena, Namke, Annie and Ricka.  He died at the age of 79 on January 28th, 1970 in Saint Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri.





William's first family

William and Ora were married in a religious ceremony on June 5th, 1916 in Osceola, Polk County, Nebraska.  They were divorced on May 9th, 1936.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Fred, John, Henrietta and Alice.
