William was born on January 16th, 1856 in Iron County, Missouri.1   William's father was August F Trauernicht and his mother was Johanna Eggerling. He had three brothers named Robert, Henry and Herman.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 88 on April 27th, 1944 in Manchester, St. Louis County, Missouri.1 





William's family

William and Friedericka were married on July 15th, 1879 in Iron County, Missouri.2   They had a son named Frederick.
