Friedericka was born on March 7th, 1860 in Iron Mountain, St. Francois County, Missouri.1   Friedericka's father was Martin Block and her mother was Louise Ranch.  She was an only child.  She died  due to terminal pneumonia at the age of 79 on July 2nd, 1939 in Ironton, Iron County, Missouri.1

Friedericka and William were married on July 15th, 1879 in Iron County, Missouri.2   They had a son named Frederick.
