Caroline Wilhelmina Brunnworth

Caroline was born on February 18th, 1863 in Hamel Township, Madison County, Illinois.¹ Caroline's father was Henry Curt Brunnworth and her mother was Dorothee (Sophia) Sophie Charlotte Buettemeier. Her paternal grandparents were Heinrich Wilhelm Brumwort and Anna Maria Dorothea Beckschewe; her maternal grandparents were Carl Friedrich Buettemeier and Dorothee Louise Lohmeier. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Louis, John, Carl, William, Charles, Heinrich, Gottlieb, Gottlieb, Fred, Mary and Sophia. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 77 on February 10th, 1941. She was buried at the Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Hamel, Madison County, Illinois.¹
