Charity Jane was born in 1845 in Indiana, USA. Charity Jane's father was Casper Hinkle and her mother was Martha Evans. Her paternal grandparents were Casper Hinkle and Caroline Frances "Fanny" Robertson. She had a brother and five sisters, named Alexander, Emily K, Polly A, Fanny, Sarah E and Melissa. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Casper Milton, Jesse, Isaac, Henry, Edith and Eliza. She died at the age of 71 in 1916.-
