John was born on May 3rd, 1932. John's father was William F Stapleton and his mother was Hannah (Hanny) Mary Ryan. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Stapleton and Ellen Bartley; his maternal grandparents were John Ryan and Kate Kennedy. He had a brother and a sister, named Patrick and Mary. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 81 on January 2nd, 2014 in Dix Hills, Suffolk. Co. New York.-
