Jennie was born on January 14th, 1876 in Luzerne,Pennsylvania.  Jennie's father is Orin/Oliver/Orren Palmer Van Keuren and her mother was Elvira Jane BESECKER.  Her paternal grandfather was Tjerck Chancy Van Keuren (Van Curen) and her paternal grandmother is Catherine F Scott Van Keuren; her maternal grandparents were Simon BESECKER and Melissa MILLER.  She has three brothers and four sisters, named Levi, Frank, Harry, Catherine, Mary, Lula and Georgia.  She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
