        BIOGRAPHY: At a nearby school (note: to Abington, PA) the children were educated and at age 17 Elvira began teaching and continued several terms. In 1869 she married Orren Palmer Van Keuren and bore him eight children.
    
    
        BIOGRAPHY: Notes about the Family of Orren Van Keuren and Elvira Jane from the memory of Beulah Flanders Born 10/3108. Dates are from the Birthday Book prepared by Jennie Flanders.
        Grandma died of complications of old age at the home of her daughter, Mary Livermore, on a farm near Fairchild, Wisconsin 8/28/1930. Grandpa had passed away may years before, 10/26/1910, on the Homestead about one-half mile from the Livermore farm.
