Olive was born on August 2nd, 1873.1   Olive's father was Albert Augustus Rankin and her mother was Louisa Moffitt.  Her paternal grandparents were William James Rankin and Olive Brown; her maternal grandparents were John Moffitt II and Maraget Dawson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William Albert, George Hoyt, Samuel Edward, John Moffitt, Mary Louisa and Margaret Olive.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died  due to Y at the age of 83 on February 4th, 1957.  She was buried in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, United States.1 1

‌Olive and Jerome McLamore were married in a religious ceremony in Kansas City,Missouri.2   They had a son named Jerome Rankin.
