John Moffitt Rankin 
John Moffitt was born on December 13th, 1875 in Geneva, IL,Illonis.1 John Moffitt's father was Albert Augustus Rankin and his mother was Louisa Moffitt. His paternal grandparents were William James Rankin and Olive Brown; his maternal grandparents were John Moffitt II and Maraget Dawson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Albert, George Hoyt, Samuel Edward, Mary Louisa, Margaret Olive and Olive. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 in 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was buried in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, United States.1 1 -
