Philamon Rankin 
Philamon was born on September 8th, 1807 in Littleton, Grafton, New Hampshire, United States.1 Philamon's father was Samuel Rankin and his mother was Azubah Whitcomb. His paternal grandparents were James Rankin and Margaret Witherspoon; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Whitcomb Jr and Lydia Howe. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Orlean, Samuel, Diantha, Almira and Joanna. He was the youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Albert. He died due to Y at the age of 63 in 1870.-
