Ida was born on April 13th, 1901 in Deerfield Twp-Isabella County-Michigan.¹ Ida's father was William Henry Gordon and her mother was Mary (Minnie) Louisa Wickes. Her paternal grandparents were Syrenus Gordon and Lousia Ann Johnson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Carl, Dale, William, Ilah and Florence. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 84 on January 28th, 1986.¹
