America E Deem

America was born on September 24th, 1849.  America's father was Haymond Bailess Deem and his mother was Mary E Melrose.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Deem and Nancy Rollins. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Samuel, Enoch, Mary, Nancy and Martha.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Waitman, John, Jacob, Charles, Edward, Brittie, Francis, Viola, Lillie, Clara and Julia.
