James Emerson Deem

James was born on March 14th, 1851.  James' father was Haymond Bailess Deem and his mother was Mary E Melrose.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Deem and Nancy Rollins. He had three brothers and three sisters, named America, Samuel, Enoch, Mary, Nancy and Martha.  He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Waitman, John, Jacob, Charles, Edward, Brittie, Francis, Viola, Lillie, Clara and Julia.  He died at the age of 90 on February 27th, 1942.
