József was born on May 5th, 1790 in Vedrődújfalu (Cífer).1   His godfather was Zelnik József and his godmother was Mária.  József's father was Peskó Péter and his mother was ?Banicsény? Katalin.  His paternal grandfather was Peskó János and his paternal grandmother is Mária. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Márton, János, Ilona, Anna and Mária.  He was the fourth oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 3 on April 10th, 1794 in Vedrődújfalu (Cífer).2
