János was born on June 23rd, 1757 in Vedrődújfalu (Cífer).1   His godfather was Benkovszky Márton.  János' father was Peskó János and his mother is Mária. He had four brothers and four sisters, named János, József, Mihály, Péter, Mária, Katalin, Mária and Anna.  He was the eighth oldest of the nine children.  János is no longer alive.
