Joseph was born in 1748. Joseph's father was James Thomas McCoy and his mother was Ann Bruce. His paternal grandparents were John McCoy and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were John (Bruice) Bruce and Sarah Parrell. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Isaac, George, John , Mary, Sarah, Ann and Rachel. He was the second oldest of the ten children.Death Notes
