Lydia was born on July 19th, 1899 in Near Brookville, Ellsworth County, Kansas..1   Lydia's father was James Bealby and her mother was Mary Lucinda Hoss.  Her paternal grandparents were James Bealby and Ann Brown. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Archie, James, Tom, Fred, Gene, Gertrude, Mildred, Mary and Lulu.  She died at the age of 86 on September 27th, 1985.  She was buried on September 30th, 1985 in Natoma, Osborne County, Kansas.1
