    "... Mr. John Lincoln, father of John P. and Benjamin T., came to Hodgdon in 1840, and took the next lot south of the one occupied by the sons.  Here he cleared a farm and liveon upon it a number of years, when he sold it to John P. Lincoln and went to live with his son, Warren Lincon, on the Calais Road.  He afterwards removed to Wisconsin, where he died in 1864 ."
