Mr John Hammond

John was born in 1710 in North Yarmouth.¹ John's father was Mr Benjamin Hammons and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Mr Edmund Hammons and Mrs Jane Montesse. He died as a war casualty, Died while serving in the army, at the age of 48 on October 14th, 1758 in North Yarmouth.²

  Enlisted in Captain Samuel Cobb's Compy, Colonel Jebediah Prebble's Regimaent as a private from the town of North Yarmouth, April 10 1758 and served until his death.
