  • There is no definite proof that Benjamin Hammonds was the father of John Hammonds but all the circumstantial evidence would indicate he was.
    
    Witness with Rachel Crediford 1707; administered his father's estate, having a double share, and took care of his mother, with considerable friction, she exasperating, he unfeeling.  in 1734 his surviving sister quit claimed to him their share in the mother's thirds and he mortgaged the land he was living on.
