Charles was born on March 31st, 1798.  Charles' father was Charles Walker and his mother is Hannah Walker.  His paternal grandfather was Timothy Walker and his paternal grandmother is Esther Walker; his maternal grandfather is John Pickering. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Augustus Willard, Timothy, Lucretia Pickering and Susan Burbeen.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 45 on September 30th, 1843.
