Catherine was born about 1499 in of, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, England.  Catherine's father was Edward Stafford and her mother was Eleanor Audley. She had a brother and three sisters, named Henry, Mary, Elizabeth and Margaret.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died on May 14th, 1555 in Holywell in, Shoreditch, Middlesex, England.  She was buried on May 17th, 1555 in St Leonard, Shoreditch, Middlesex, England.
