Sarah Jane was born on August 4th, 1848 in Port Hill.  Sarah Jane's father was Ambrose Boyle and her mother was Mary Ann Boyle.  Her paternal grandparents are Boyle and Unknown Boyle. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Robert, Isaac, Ambrose, Matilda, Ellen Maria, Mary Ann, Elizabeth, Judith, Jane and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 86 in 1934.
