Friedrich was born on August 31st, 1858 in Preussen.1   Friedrich's father was Johann Pienak and his mother was Regine Jeromin.  His paternal grandparents are Paul Pienak and Esther Skupsch. He had four brothers and a sister, named Gottleib, Christoff, Curt, Carl and Charlotte.  He was the second oldest of the six children.
