Zlata Orenstein

Zlata was born in Serock, Pultusk, Warszaw, Poland.¹ Zlata's father was Chaim Eliezer Orenstein and her mother was Perla Jonisz. Her paternal grandfather is Yitzchak Aaron Orenstein and her paternal grandmother was Sura Zlata Pieniek. She had three brothers and a sister, named Israel, Shmuel, Orenstein and Malka. She died in the Holocaust at the age of 20.¹

- "Zlata Orenstein was born to Khaim and Perla. Prior to WWII she lived in Serock, Poland. Zlata perished in the Shoah at the age of 20. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted by her sister-in-law."
