Israel Orenstein

Israel was born in Serock, Pultusk, Warszaw, Poland.¹ Israel's father was Chaim Eliezer Orenstein and his mother was Perla Jonisz. His paternal grandfather is Yitzchak Aaron Orenstein and his paternal grandmother was Sura Zlata Pieniek. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Shmuel, Orenstein, Malka and Zlata. He died in the Holocaust at the age of 18.¹

- "Israel Orenstein was born in Serock, Poland to Khaim and Perla. Prior to WWII he lived in Serock, Poland. Israel perished in the Shoah at the age of 18. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted by his sister-in-law."
