Louisa was born on July 11th, 1846 in Sydney NSW, Australia.1   Louisa's father was Charles Empson and her mother was Maria Austen.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Empson and Esther ???; her maternal grandparents were James Austen and Mary Drury. She had two sisters named Sarah and Eliza.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died  due to chronic nephritis & myocarditis at the age of 82 on April 2nd, 1929 in Balmain North, Sydney, NSW.
