Samuel was born on July 16th, 1808 in Kings Arms Gardens Bethnal Green and his baptism took place on August 18th, 1808 at St Georges in the East.⁸   He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Bronchitis Emphysema, at the age of 61 on January 13th, 1870 at 20 Rhodeswell Terrace.  The funeral took place in Bethnal Green.  He was buried on February 4th, 1870.

 James Henry Spelman (Rope Maker)
James was born on May 4th, 1809 in Kings Arms Gardens Bethnal Green and his christening took place on August 20th, 1809 at St Matthews Bethnal Green conducted by the vicar.^9 10   He died due to a medical problem, Phthiois Fulmonatis, at the age of 69 on June 16th, 1878 at 5 Railway Place York Rd Limehouse.¹¹
