James, known as (called SIMMANS), was born in 1857 in Back Lane Barking.  (called SIMMANS)'s father was William (Fisherman) James  Parker (Fisherman) and his mother was Eliza Ann Godfrey.  His paternal grandfather was William Parker and his paternal grandmother is Ann; his maternal grandparents were William Godfrey (B Barking Fisherman) and Ann Marie Darnell (b Poplar). He had four sisters named (called SIMMANS), (called SIMMANS), (called SIMMANS) and (called SIMMANS).  He was the third oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Francis, William, Ester, Ellen, Georgina, Alice and Thirza.
