James was born on January 1st, 1848 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on January 10th, 1848 at St Margaret's  Church Barking conducted by Curate Robert Liddell. James' father was William  Henry Hart (Ag Labourer) and his mother was Ann Lodge (St Pancras SomerT).  His paternal grandparents were Henry Hart (Baker -  Grave 247) and Mary Wilson (Baker - grave 247); his maternal grandparents were William Lodge (Fishmonger) and Ann Abbott. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Obediah, George, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth and Emma.  He was the youngest of the nine children.  He died about May 15th, 1927 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on May 19th, 1927 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on May 19th, 1927 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.1 2 




James' family

James and Emma were married in a religious ceremony.  They had two sons and four daughters, named James, George, Mary, Ellen, Emily and Ann.
