Mary was born on March 1st, 1835 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on March 15th, 1835 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1   Mary's father was William  Henry Hart (Ag Labourer) and her mother was Ann Lodge (St Pancras SomerT).  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Hart (Baker -  Grave 247) and Mary Wilson (Baker - grave 247); her maternal grandparents were William Lodge (Fishmonger) and Ann Abbott. She had five brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Obediah, George, James, Ann, Elizabeth and Emma.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 47 on October 14th, 1882 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on October 22nd, 1882 at St Margaret's Barking.  She was buried on October 22nd, 1882 at St Margaret's Barking.2 3 3
